Jackie McLean on Blue Note 4179

This is the original deep-groove Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Jackie McLean “It’s Time” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4179.  Other than a few light inaudible splotches, the playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated West 61st cover is in beautiful condition – clean and bright throughout – with just a 1 ½” clean break at the center of the bottom seam; price sticker at the upper right corner of the back slick.  Illustrated inner sleeve is included.

Personnel include Charles Tolliver, Herbie Hancock, Cecil McBee, and Roy Haynes.
