Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Jackie Mclean/John Jenkins “Alto Madness” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7114. The playing surface on Side 1 is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; Side 2 has numerous scuffs which are largely inaudible – just a few low-level non-repetitive tics. The laminated West 50th St. cover has a neat 5 ½” repair on the top seam, at the opening; the spine has six lamination cracks and 1/8” wear at the top and bottom corners; The back slick has small writing and a discoloration along the left and right edges. Glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Wade Legge, Doug Watkins, and Art Taylor. $250.00.
