Description
Blue and silver label, deep groove. Recorded in 1955. Accompanied by Romeo Pengue, reeds; Janet Putnam, harp; Bill Triglia, piano; Barry Galbraith, guitar; Milt Hinton, bass; Osie Johnson, drums plus 5 strings arranged by Manny Albam. Fine and original jazz singer. Cover: VG to VG+. 3” top edge split; 10” bottom edge split. Cover picture by Herman Leonard as very small tear in an inconspicuous area. Cover shows some general wear. Some aging on back cover. Some edge and corner wear. Record: VG+ or better. Visually shows 1 small light surface rub. There is some low level static-like surface noise in places. This appears to be a function of the pressing, not wear. This light noise is barely noticeable in places, and more apparent in other places but is not throughout the whole record. Overall, very listenable. Audibly checked.
