Jackie Wilson He's So Fine LP OG BL 54042 Rare Textured

Up for bid is a rare Soul LP, "He's So Fine" by Jackie Wilson. This is a rare original Brunswick "textured" cover (BL 54042). I am aware that some early Brunswick releases (like the original press of "The Chirping Crickets") had textured covers (as opposed to smooth glossy covers - these are both original pressings, but the textured covers were limited). These particular jackets were limited early pressings, much more desirable to collectors. This is the first "textured" Jackie Wilson Brunswick jacket I have ever encountered. View the third picture for a close up of the "criss cross" textured pattern - just the front has this texture, the back of the jacket is smooth and glossy. LP is VG+, with a couple of faint scuffs on either side. Stamped matrix info reads "MG6194T1/MG6195T2." LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. This has black interior labels with silver lettering, and deep grooves on either side. Jacket is VG+. There is one small split in the top seam. This starts at the lip and travels inward about an inch. There is light corner wear on all four corners. The name of a previous owner is written in small print in blue ink in the front top left corner of the jacket (see pictures). There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is light wear along the lip of the jacket. There is some discoloration on the back of the jacket in the white areas. There is a sticker on the back of the jacket in the lower right corner giving the details of a long gone music retailer. The colors of the jacket are still bright. Do not miss this hard to find gem! Any questions feel free to email. Comes from a non-smoking home environment! LP will be securely packaged in an LP mailer with inserts to provide safe delivery. LP will be shipped media mail within the US with insurance and delivery confirmation.
