Jade Warrior  -  Last Autumn's Dream              VEL - 1012

This is the first U.S. Vertigo Swirl label pressing of Jade Warrior's great 3rd lp, "Last Autumn's Dream".  A fantastic hippy lp with nice instrumentation / performances from all involved. One of their better efforts.

Dead Wax has VEL-1012-A-CT2 stamped, as well as MS and the initials G.K. etched on Side A and VEL-1012-B-CT2 stamped, as well as MS and the initials G.K. etched on Side B. Both sides have a T stamped into the dead wax.    

Vinyl visual Grading:  VG+ with one negligible factory surface mark across Side B. I opened this lp just a few months ago after owning it sealed for a LONG TIME. There is some storage staining that I have NOT attempted to clean. I will leave this to the buyer as I already own another decent playing copy (and generally I like to do my own cleaning on the lps that I buy on Ebay).

Vinyl play Grading:  VG to VG+ with EXCELLENT fidelity. This lp has been played exactly ONCE since opening from new. There is some light static at the lead-in of both sides and some light but noticeable static on the very quiet songs (first half of Dark River, first bit of Morning Hymn). I am fairly certain that a GOOD, PROFESSIONAL style cleaning would elevate most of this lp to almost NM. As it is now, most of this lp plays at VG+ and the louder cuts play at NM.

Cover visual Grading: VG+ with shrink intact over the gatefold paste-over cover. Seams and spine are all GREAT. Corners are slightly softened. Price tag on the shrink (top right front).

Comes with original Mercury brands paper inner sleeve which I have lined with an audiophile style rice inner.

It is high time to sell off my doubles (of which I have hundreds), and also some items that are no longer of interest to me. My musical tastes run all over the map so there should be something for everyone depending on the particular day.  My goal is to become an HONEST, TRUSTED and RELIABLE provider of EXCELLENT quality vinyl and cds.  The grading system I employ for vinyl will be as follows:

NM:  Virtually unmarked / considered either RARELY PLAYED, AS NEW OPENED, or record could still be SEALED.

VG+:  NO scratches/scuffs. At most a few light surface blemishes which have VERY LITTLE or NO effect on fidelity. 

VG:  Used but CERTAINLY NOT abused, perhaps extremely light surface scratching/scuffing causing noise which DOES NOT significantly compromise the fidelity of the music

G:   There will be visible marking and noise evident but the record will still be listenable and enjoyable, depending on your ears.

I do not use the Mint grading since there really is no such thing as perfection. Also, I will NOT sell noisy vinyl (Fair/Poor gradings) UNLESS I feel that there is significant historical and/or collector interest in the item. 

ALL records will have been visually graded under BRIGHT light and play graded on a Thorens TD165 table with little used Shure cartridge (at about 1.5 grams) and JBL reference headphones with the Treble set HIGH. This play-grading system masks very little so rest assured that my descriptions will be ACCURATE.

All of my listings will have the particulars detailed (ie. any blemishes, detail concerning condition of vinyl, cover, etc.). All records will be shipped in new or top-condition recycled record mailers with well padded corners and extra stiffeners. Original inners will be included if available, and all vinyl/covers will be held within a poly outer (vinyl will be outside of cover).

I will not be held responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in transit, AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

   It costs me MORE THAN TWICE the $4 listed below to post an album, so I have to set the above costs.  Multiple items will be quoted upon request!  Generally, it should be about $2 more per lp shipped. These shipping/handling rates are still DEFINITELY LESS than my actual costs.  The countries listed in these shipping rates are the only countries that I will ship to (NO EXCEPTIONS.....well, maybe...but you will have to contact me first FOR SURE!). On occasion, I will be listing cds. All of the cds will have their particular condition detailed within the listing. Shipping for cds will be $3 within Canada/U.S. and $5 to U.K./Japan. I will, of course, offer shipping/handling cost breaks on multiple items BUT since I am shipping from Canada (where we live with NOTORIOUSLY high postal rates), you may not receive the price break that you are hoping for.   AGAIN, being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing some of the costs of postage and ALL of the costs of shipping materials.
