Description

ATTENTION ALL POTENTIAL FOREIGN WORLDWIDE BUYERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!! I SHIP TO ALL COUNTRIES WITH NO COUNTRIES EXCLUDED!!! PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU WANT TO BID FROM ANY COUNTRY LISTED EXCLUDED AS THIS IS A GLITCH THAT EBAY HAS NOT YET COMPETENTLY ADDRESSED OR SOLVED! APPEARING IN ALL OF MY LISTINGS I CAN'T CONTROL IT UNFORTUNATELY!

I have much more I will be offering the next few months including as always some top rarities in choice condition on such labels as Harvest, Marmalade, Neon, Vertigo, B&C/Charisma, Dandelion, Deram, Polydor, Pegasus, Philips, Blue Horizon, Transatlantic, Virgin/Caroline etc. Please be patient and keep watching as it takes time when available to go through various sections of my collection and in some areas I've barely scratched the surface of what I'll be offering. For some of the larger labels such as B&C/Charisma, Harvest, Transatlantic, Vertigo, Virgin/Caroline etc. I am waiting until I have assembled more of a quantity of titles to offer at one time rather than just listing a few here and there along with other stuff.

ATTENTION TO ALL EBAYERS--PLEASE TAKE NOTE: After much consideration and frustration on my part to not serve you better by getting more listings up regularly each week I will be implementing a new policy as of September 9, 2012. Rest assured that this will in no way affect my overall standards of service, nor the quality of what I offer. Basically I will be dropping some of the details below in what has been my routinely elaborate individual item descriptions, IF the items are not deemed by me to be bigger ticket potential ie. $100.00 + LPs. With up to 12 pictures much of this information should be self evident anyway by carefully viewing all of them. For top rarities I offer that should sell for multiple hundreds or even $1,000.00 + (even in the currently weak worldwide economy), I will continue to provide the same more elaborate descriptions that I always have, both supplemented and verified with up to 12 photos each that are always of the exact items I'm offering for sale as anyone who has purchased from me before has experienced. If you have any specific questions about any item that's not self evident, then feel free to contact me and I will respond ASAP. Please do not wait until the last day when the auction is ending though, unless by chance you have just noticed the listing. I rarely monitor the bidding when my auctions are ending as I'm usually working at getting more new listings up for your benefit. Needless to say my feedback speaks for itself! For those of you who have left it (which is the vast majority of you), I appreciate your continued support of myself as primarily a seller, as well as the overall Ebay community at large to continue making it a better and more reliable experience for everyone. For the few that continue to not leave feedback despite multiple purchases from me in the past I will no longer be leaving feedback in advance for you as I've continued to do for everyone before including all brand new customers. Naturally if anyone's dis-satisfied for some reason I want to know about it so I can potentially make it right if at all possible.

Welcome Back Rare Vinyl Fans & Fiends Alike. So sorry for the rather long un-intended hiatus from selling since last spring of 2011 but other demands on my time were required.

HERE you will often FIND offered BETTER CONDITION RECORDS than many other

(visually graded only) sources offer, WHICH ARE FREQUENTLY TOP COPIES & VIRTUALLY new or LIKE-NEW

and unplayed or played very few times, AND/OR THE BEST COPIES POSSIBLE of many choice records.

Purchased: NEW. Virtually Immaculate STONE MINT vinyl 1st UK edition of these superb 1969/1970 recordings by this top acid folk band backed by a stellar array of supporting/contributing musicians who have played with other top bands! Yet more always uncompromising experimental improvisational recordings by this/these fine folk-rock zone troopers. Once again this player/these players demonstrate a unique affinity and collective mindset for producing such telepathic improvisation. It doesn't always work well but when it does like here it's absolutely glorious! Worth the price of admission for those who are experimentally inclined and not uptight or inclined to become prejudicially divided (as all of us need to be unified worldwide to stave off the stifling New World Order and their tyrannical diabolical aspirations to enslave us all). Beware and please don't be too square!  FYI this wouldn't be offered if I still didn't owe $1,500.00 to pay off my well!!                                                                                                                                                         UPDATE: I recently paid off the well & I am in the process of deleting that paragraph from all existing listings! Many Thanks to all of the buyers that have contributed to that happening for which I am very grateful!!

PLEASE NOTE THIS UPDATE FOR ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS & WATCHERS INCLUDING THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE MADE SOME PRETTY WORTHY OFFERS DATING BACK TO LAST FALL IN BOTH LATE SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2013 AS WELL AS IN JANUARY THIS YEAR.  For the benefit of all of you I wanted to mention that recently one of the parties that had made 2 offers contacted me asking what was the best price I would consider to part with this LP. I replied in detail citing anonymously some of the offers that had been made to date as well as conveying that the BIN was/is set up (as it has been from the very beginning of the listing) to automatically reject any offers below $300.00 and accept any for $323.99 & above. I then went on to say that I was still inclined to not accept less than that, but after a little further thought I emailed them back saying I would accept $313.99 if they wanted it for that. At that point I adjusted the BIN lower acceptance end to coincide with what I said but it was still apparently too high for them to act. Now it's been about 10 days since those emails. SO, I'm throwing it open with a level playing field to all potential watchers & bidders with yet another BIN reduction for this LP & you all know what it is as referenced here! As I also conveyed to him initially I have a 4 acre Lakemont property up for sale (as referenced in my Jude painting listing of "My Native Home") & there's been some interest shown in the property lately which is in a similar price range to the painting, both of which I reduced again on Valentine's Day. If or When either of those sell I am pretty inclined to remove both the Reign Ghost & Jade listings as they are both LPs I dearly love, as I told the other party. So you have all been potentially forewarned of that looming possibility!! However, as I also said & reiterate here, I'm very blessed to have assets that are still quite marketable in these financially tough times for many, so sometimes one must sacrifice some bigger ticket items to pay off other debts or expenses as they accrue, thus some of my bigger ticket listings with more yet to come.

3/27/14 UPDATE: I was contacted by the same interested party referenced above again yesterday on March 26th and responded after getting back from Atlanta yesterday evening. In accordance with what I conveyed to them earlier (as noted above) as well as last night I've adjusted the BIN once again. I would like to sell this LP to someone because I have some looming debt on the horizon but there's no way I'm going to accept less than $303.69 for it because I have plenty of other items to list for sale to raise $$. Right now offers of not much more than that will win it outright with the reconfigured BIN! As I also conveyed to them I will be glad to declare the record for substantially less than it's going price so any international buyer(s) will not be socked with additional mercenary customs fees! Please bear that in mind & factor it in accordingly!!

4/13/14 UPDATE: Once again the same party contacted me shortly after they made their most recent offer of $300.00 (the highest to date) which didn't get accepted because I had reconfigured the low end of the BIN a little higher to reject any offers less than $303.69. I emailed them back this afternoon saying I would now accept their offer of $300.00 but I've not heard back affirmatively. So it's up for final grabs at this price. Take it....or leave it! Ultimately it's your choice!

FYI I'll also add here that the right channel of my stereo started to act up & become intermittent back in January about 3-4 weeks ago before subsequently dying completely. At first I thought it was my pre-amp but after some testing discovered it was my amplifier. Last week I had planned to go to Atlanta on Tuesday (Feb.11th) or Wednesday (Feb. 12th) to take it to my technician for repair but Mother Nature soundly negated that plan with some severe winter weather! So in the meantime I've used this as an impetus to start pruning my glass collection which I've been planning to do for quite some time. To serve you all adequately, it's really not realistic to properly evaluate & grade more records for sale with only one channel working, despite the fact that I can still record effectively. So that's why there's been no new vinyl listings over the last several weeks, now being a couple of months!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  UPDATE: I was finally able to take a trip to Atlanta yesterday on 3/26/14 to drop off my amplifier for repair. The technician who only has 1 co-worker is very busy & I await an evaluation of what's wrong with it & an estimate of cost. It may be a couple of weeks so once again I cannot play grade or listen to vinyl at all right now and further prune my record collection so I can list more records for sale. I have much still targeted to review and rest assured that I will be back with many more vinyl listings as soon as possible!

Cover Condition: M- gate-fold with no appreciable surface wear since leaving the factory & lovingly cared for since then by yours truly! Some modest/moderate edge-wear on top & bottom + miniscule rub-off around corners. Very close to a perfect copy!

Inner Sleeve: Original toned white paper poly-bag augmented with an additional sheer plastic lined sleeve to protect the pristine vinyl.

Record Condition:  Looks very well preserved Stone Mint with minimal hairlines/sleeve-wear and plays the same superb Mint both before after cleaning on a VPI HW-17. No upgrade possibly desired or required as there's none better and probably few as good world-wide!! This is really excellent music here featured in an intimate musical setting providing some cosmic sounds that can send one into the stratosphere if they're ready, willing and able! So now it's your move!

Label Condition: Both=M with no spindle marks.

Matrix #'s: See photos.

PAYMENT is expected within 1 week unless you're confirmed bidding on other items. Combined shipping is available for multiple purchases up to a 2 week duration counting from the day of the first winning bid and/or confirmed purchase (if Buy it Now) made by any buyer. All orders will be shipped within 1 week of payment with records removed from sleeves (unless SS) to prevent any cover seams from splitting.

Please understand that all orders will be expertly boxed with care and shipped promptly, but I cannot and will not be held responsible for anything lost or damaged in transit. Consequently insurance is strongly recommended for all US winners. Payment is Pay Pal only for all foreign buyers and insurance is unavailable as it is too expensive. Once again, I cannot and will not be held responsible for any item(s) lost or damaged in transit due to careless handling by the USPS or foreign postal services. Any/All buyers outside of the U.S. hereby agree to accept full responsibility for any loss or damage to/for any item sent, and furthermore accept that the seller, myself, will not be held liable or responsible for any refund or further recourse for recovery of the lost or damaged item(s). THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING & INTEREST AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!

INVOICES: It is not my policy to send out invoices unless or until requested. This is because I don't want to rush people to pay in case they're wanting to potentially win another item or items and take full advantage of my combined shipping offer. I can't predict what else someone might want to bid on and I don't necessarily know from one week to the next what I'm going to list for sale from my collection. However if you don't want to wait then feel free to pay for your item(s) won at any time. All information is in my listings for the proper shipping costs depending upon where you are located. If you're not sure then please e-mail me for confirmation and I will gladly send you an invoice. Please do not abuse my grace period for paying within 2 weeks or just let me know if you're having a problem so we can work it out. I'm friendly and understanding and THANK-YOU FOR BEING CONSIDERATE!  However, I reserve the right to either re-list any item or offer it to the runner up bidder if you don't pay for it within the allotted time period and play by the rules. If that happens then I will not allow you to bid in future auctions of mine.

SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:   Please note that as of today 26th February 2012, I've lowered the price of additional single LPs for media mail for U.S. customers to $1.50 instead of $2.00 for up to 6 albums total, per my attempts to keep it closer to actual costs of mailing. Remember that gate-folds usually weigh more so I've tried to establish a medium based on that.

RATES UPDATE-as of June 2013: Since the January 27th U.S. postal rates increases some foreign buyers have automatically been sending me $24.15 in checkout (despite my posted $19.00 rate) which I thank you all for as that's frequently been my exact cost to ship one LP double boxed. However when I've used 2 boxes recently (a regular size/weight box I use for all domestic shipping packed like it's ready to ship by itself inserted with bubble wrap taped surrounding it within a larger much heavier cardboard outer box) it's actually been costing me $26.00 more often than $24.15(regardless of gate-fold or not), thus my additions to the rates. Please remember again that I'm paying for all of my packing materials which are factored in accordingly as already noted below. It's your call!

1.Continental U.S.A.-1 LP is $10.40 for Priority + $1.25 each additional LP OR $4.00 for Media mail + additional single LPs are $1.50 each up to 6 total. More than 6 may require an adjustment.

2.Alaska, Hawaii & Canada are $13.00 for 1st LP  Airmail and $5.00 for each additional single album up to 5 total.

3.Mexico & South America are $15.00 for 1st LP Airmail and $4.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

4.Europe is $19.00 OR $27.00 (IF record sells for $100.00-150.00 or more AND BUYER OPTS FOR DOUBLE BOX PACKING including outer heavy cardboard over-sized box) for 1st LP Airmail and $5.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

5.Japan, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Korea, Russia and United Kingdom are $19.00 OR $27.00 (see above) for 1st LP Airmail and $5.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

6.Africa and Middle East are $20.00 OR 28.00 (see above) for 1st LP Airmail and $5.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

ATTENTION FOR ALL FOREIGN BUYERS: For a few international buyers lately who have purchased 6 or more LPs for combined shipping the above rates I list have been inadequate to cover my shipping costs because more than 4 additional LPs can push the weight to over 4 pounds into a higher shipping cost category. So for now please ask for a shipping quote if you're buying more than 4-5 LPs. Rest assured that as always I will strive to offer all customers the best rates possible to save them money and be as close to the actual shipping costs for their item(s) as possible within reason. Please understand that LPS, their covers (gate-fold or non-gate-fold), boxes and packing materials utilized can vary somewhat in their respective weights so with all of my posted rates I try and set averages that are appropriate to generally cover my costs and be close to yours also. Thanks once again for your understanding in my efforts to serve you all to the best of my ability.

PLEASE NOTE:  Rest assured that I only charge to basically cover my costs and all of my shipping supplies and handling time to pack are factored in & included already with no additional charges added on to pad the actual sales prices. I strive to satisfy and attain your 100% satisfaction as well as retain my 100% feedback rating!

MY PRESERVATION POLICY on many records that I revered was simple and I share it with you now so that you understand why you take virtually no risk buying from me providing the album was bought new and not used originally. When I'd buy a "new" album and it was something I liked a lot and still available (most of my new albums were purchased in the early-mid 1970's!) I'd initially play it between 15-25 times to become familiar with it and then sell it to a friend as a still EX+ well preserved nice copy. (Adding outer & inner plastic sleeves was standard procedure additionally limiting cover wear and/or hairline paper sleeve marks.) Then I'd buy another new copy and in some cases if a particular favorite then yet another, meaning that I only played the 2nd copy (now my 1st) 5-10 times and the 3rd (now my 2nd if I kept 2) once or twice, always initially taping or now in more recent years currently burning to disc 1 copy within the first couple of  plays thus significantly limiting play to this day on most of my lps. I did/do this with many single copy rarities as well so most play was/is on tapes or cd-rs. I bought a lot of CDs of favorite things also which further helped preserve my vinyl and limit play of much of it. Sometimes I also acquired rare British and European vinyl which I never saw imported in stores and sold new in the United States or Canada from contacts I established through mail correspondence during the 1970's. I developed contacts in England, France, Germany, Holland & Norway. Be aware that the MAJORITY of albums or occasionally 45's that I list ARE FREQUENTLY my ONLY COPIES so bid accordingly as you'll not likely see most of them listed by me again.

SO, MOST OF MY ALBUMS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT NEW, STILL ACCURATELY APPEAR VIRTUALLY NEW AND UNPLAYED, AND MOST WERE HONESTLY PLAYED NO MORE THAN 5-10 TIMES AND OFTEN ONLY TWICE OR THRICE AND ARE STILL NEAR MINT!! WHY TAKE THE RISK & HASSLE WITH RETURNS EVEN IF THEY"RE ACCEPTED. SHOP HERE AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT AND DISAPPOINTMENT FROM YOUR FUTURE E-BAY VINYL TRANSACTIONS NOW!
