“Item Lost or Damaged in Post” Procedure
Please read carefully before bidding – By bidding on this item you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions:
Sometimes, albeit rarely, items get lost or damaged in the post – a problem that is neither the seller nor the buyer’s fault. Whilst I always encourage buyers to take up the “Signed for/Recorded delivery” option (at 75p additional cost), I will always obtain a “Certificate of Posting” from the Post Office, should ordinary 1st/2nd class post be chosen as the delivery option by the buyer.
In the event of loss or damage to the item in the post, this certificate will be used by myself in an attempt to obtain 100% compensation from the Post Office. Should compensation be obtained, I will either, at my discretion;
- Refund 100% of the compensation obtained to the buyer, whatever the figure, or if possible,
- Send the buyer a replacement item at my expense.
Please note that compensation is not awarded by the Post Office until 14 days have elapsed from the date of posting, and no compensation will be awarded to the buyer until after that date.

Should item price reach in excess of £46.00, then item MUST be sent by "Next Day Delivery" (to allow compensation up to £500.00) at an additional cost of £3.00.
Should auction reach a final value of £46.00 or over, then postage must be via UK Guaranteed Next Day Delivery (to ensure compensation up to £500.00 ) at an additional cost of £3.00.
Should listing reach a value in excess of £46.00, then delivery must be via "Guaranteed Next Day" (to allow compensation up to £500.00) at an additional postage cost of £3.00.
International "Signed For" rate is an additional £7.45 on top of the Air Mail prices quoted in the listing, to again, allow for compensation up to £500.00, should item reach over £46.00.
