Dark green vinyl in gatefold
30-year-old Mercury Prize winner James Blake releases his fourth studio album »Assume Form«. This album also features exciting collaborations with artists such as Travis Scott, Andre 3000, Metro Boomin, Moses Sumney & Rosalia (BBC Sound Poll 2019).
In 2016 James produced and contributed songs for the following artists and albums: Beyonce's "Lemonade" and Frank Ocean's "Blonde". In 2017 songwriting and production followed on Jay Z's album »4:44«. It continued in 2018 with the collaboration on Kendrick Lamar's album »Damn«, for which the two wrote the song »Element« together. James and Kendrick continued their collaboration in the form of the two songs "King's Dead" and "Bloody Water" for the film soundtrack for "Black Panther". And that's not all. It also followed that James Blake and his band were there as a support act on Kendrick Lamar's 2018 tour "Damn". As a further highlight at the end of 2018, James can be heard on the first single "Stop Trying To Be God" of the upcoming album by Travis as a guest singer.
