Description
James Brown – Prisoner Of Love – Original 1963 KING RECORDS K-851
This is the original U.S. Pressing. I am the original owner. This is the copy that I only played twice because I had purchased two copies in 1963. It is THICK HEAVY VINYL WITH THE INDENTED BLACK LABEL - CONDITION IS MINT RATED 9 OUT of 10 - THE VINYL IS BRILLIANT - BEAUTIFUL - The Jacket Cover is the hard to find original with the custom back picture, others have photos of other KING albums on the back - Condition very good, no splits, only name written in light ink on top back (see photo) - GUARANTEED
1-5-2010 I played the LP from end-to-end and bottom line how it plays and sounds is the most important thing. I can personnally say that this LP plays phenominally. It is dead quiet as far as background noise, and it has spectacular realism, with James brown and his band jumping out of the grooves, playing 4 of his biggest hits - Prisoner Of Love, Try Me, Lost Someone, and Bewildered. The only track that has some tiny pops is Waiting In Vain. This is James Brown at his vintage best.
