Disclosure: I will be forthright and tell you that this is my first time grading records for sale on ebay. So I'm on a learning curve. However, I am an experienced online seller who knows the importance of customer satisfaction. I also own several hundred LP records that I regularly play, so I have some experience with what a good record sounds like. Finally, I have reviewed the grading policies of other experienced record sellers here on ebay and on the Goldmine Magazine website. I have attempted to honestly and conservatively grade these records. If you think my grading is inaccurate, please return for a full refund (buyer pays for return shipping).

Side 2: Minor scuffing and hairline scratches
Side 3: Minor scuffing and hairline scratches
Side 4: Minor scuffing
Side 5: Moderate scuffing and several scratches
Side 6: Minor scuffing

Playback grading:

Side 1: VG
Side 2: VG
Side 3: VG
Side 4: VG
Side 5: G
Side 6: VG

I installed a new cartridge and stylus before grading to ensure I wasn't dragging an old needle. I have not attempted to clean these records (besides a gentle sweep with a soft microfiber cloth to remove lint), so they will sound somewhat better after cleaning. Also, my record player has some problem with static, so a better system will deliver cleaner sound.

Except for side 5 (see above), these are among the best-sounding records in my used LP collection. No records skip, and all deliver a warm, pleasing sound. Most of the time the surface noise is minimal, but there is usually a light crackle and occasionally a pop. The worst is side 5, near the end of track 1, where a nasty scratch crackles sharply for maybe a couple dozen rotations. The best side might be side 6.

Ah! Now after listening to this set, I wish I could afford to keep my $9 South Bronx garage sale find. :-)

CONDITION OF BOX: Approx. G

The box has been roughly handled. It has scratches and the top is dished in. The top is separated from the bottom, and both are torn in one corner (see photos).

CONDITION OF LINER: Approx. VG

The liner has no tears and only one or two very faint creases. Some dirt on the front (see photo).
