Description
You are bidding on (3) Concept Albums. All (3) are Japanese presses in VG+ condition.
1) Electric Light Orchestra - Time, 1981 Japan, 25AP 2111 Very Strong VG+ condition - play-tested to beautiful results! Comes complete with OBI and OIS with credits and lyrics and Japanese liner notes with lyrics. Time is a concept album about a man from the 1980s who is taken to the year 2095, where he is confronted by the dichotomy between technological advancement and a longing for past romance. The record topped the UK Albums Chart for two weeks.
2) Styx - Kilroy Was Here, 1983 Japan, AMP-28068 Gatefold, Very Strong VG+ condition, gatefold sleeve with color picture labels, OBI, and 6-page insert. The OBI has "crinkling," but is in tact. This is a beautiful specimen. Kilroy Was Here is the eleventh studio album by the American rock band Styx, released on February 22, 1983. A concept album and rock opera about a world where rock music is outlawed, it is named after a famous World War II graffiti tag, "Kilroy was here". It was the last album of original material to be released by the "classic" lineup of Dennis DeYoung, Tommy Shaw, James "J.Y." Young, John Panozzo, and Chuck Panozzo.
3) Lou Reed - Berlin, 1974 Japan, RCA-6181, Wax is glossy - as close to NM as you can get. The cover is VG+ with a little staining, but comes with the original 4-page Japanese lyric sheet and 8-page English lyric sheet. Berlin is the third solo studio album by American rock musician Lou Reed, released in October 1973 by RCA Records. A concept album, Berlin tells the story of a couple's struggle with abuse and drug addiction. Initially, critical reception was mixed but appraisals of the album have warmed over the years: in 1973 Rolling Stone declared the album "a disaster" but by 2012 the album was ranked No. 344 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
