Jay Jay Johnson - The Eminent Volume 2 10" LP
Blue Note BLP 5057. Blue/White deep groove 767 Lexington Ave NYC label. Mono. USA 1955.
First pressing. RVG and ear in dead wax. Thick cover, no inner sleeve.
Graded cover/record VG/VG+
Cover looks very fine but has most of bottom seam split and some writing on back.
Vinyl has a few tiny surface marks, lables has light signs of use. Plays excellent with minimal occasional background noise only.
The second LP on Blue Note of Jay Jay Johnson and second in the title refers to this.< br>
With Ike Qubec, Ben Webster, Charlie Christian, Buck Clayton, Tyree Glenn, Barney Bigard,
Tiny Grimes, Oscar Pettiford, Sidney Catlett etc.
Etc means no less than Sabu Martinez, clearly heard on most tracks!
