Description
Hip-Hop History. A signed promo record from the Jaz (Jaz-O) for radio promotion and signed by Jaz and Jay-Z (as Jay-Zee as he was known at the time) among others. Before 4:44, Beyonce, the Black Album, the Blueprints, Kanye, Dame Dash, Roc-A-Fella, Reasonable Doubt, even before the In My Lifetime 12", Jay was Jaz-O's protegee and honed his rhyming skills. Jay wouldn't put out his classic debut Reasonable Doubt for another 7 years, but you can hear him spitting and growing on this record. Record looks to be in solid condition, probably VG to VG+ and the sleeve (as a promo) has a holepunch and some wear.
