Description

Red and silver label with silver laurel leaf desing a the top of the label, deep groove. Recorded"live" in 1955 at the famous cafe/bar located in Times Square in NYC. In a traditional jam session format lead by Charlie Shaves and lRed Allen and include such all stars as Frank Rehak, trombone; Eddie Barefield, clarinet, alto sax; Cozy Cole, drums; Milt Hinton, bass; Claude Hopkins, piano and many nmore. 3 tracks and includes some short dialogue passages and crowd freaction to the exciting jazz. Also, some vocals. Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean with no aging. Small amount of edge wear. Record: Min(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 2 surface rub marks. These do not effect the sound. Except for an occasional, very infrequent light click, no surface noise. Side 2 is one long track. Fine condition. Audibly checked.
