Description

This is the original pressing of the Jazz Contemporaries “Reasons in Tonality” on Strata-East SES-1972.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once; a small scuff at the end of Side 2 produces three tics after the music ends, during the announcement of the musicians.  The coated cover is clean and bright throughout; the top seam has 1 ½” wear at the spine and ¼” wear at the opening; the bottom seam has a 3 ¼” clean break at the center and 1/8” wear the opening.  Personnel include George Coleman, Julius Watkins, Clifford Jordan, Harold Mabern, Larry Ridley, and Keno Duke.  $75.00.
