Description

The Jazz Giants '56 LP - Norgran MGN-1056. Mono.

ORIGINAL deep groove - trumpet player- yellow Norgran label.

Lester Young - tenor sax / Vic Dickenson - trombone / Roy Eldridge - trumpet / Teddy Wilson - piano / Freddie Greene - guitar / Gene Ramey - bass / Jo Jones - drums.

The disc looks VG++, with light wear and a superficial scuff. It plays in VG+ condition, with light surface noise occasionally audible under the music.  There are a few scattered minor tics. There are NO scratches, NO skips, NO loud pops/clicks.

The front cover is VG+ with 2 small tears along the open edge.

The back cover is VG-, with ring wear. There are tiny ink numbers written next to Gigantic Blues.

There is a date written on the label (see photo).
