Description

Charlie Parker, Big Band, on Clef 609.  Original mono, deep-groove pressing is VG+, with a few light paper scuffs and hairlines, and a fingernail scuff on the B-side that doesn't affect play.  Full shine, no discernible spindle marks.  The record plays brilliantly, with superb clarity.  Front cover has light ring wear, some mottling and fading to the pink, particularly around the edges.  Along the top seam it looks like the glue that was used to paste down the cover bled through the front slick and hardened on it.  This also occurred at the bottom-left corner, where a small rectangle of the shiny coating is missing.  Rear cover is evenly, lightly yellowed with age, but very clean and with minimal wear.  Seams show very slight wear, and are tight with no splits or missing paper.  A really nice copy with great fidelity.

I am currently selling a very nice batch of 50s and 60s jazz originals in great shape, so check my other auctions.
