Description
Gene Ammons, Boss Tenor, on Prestige 7180. First stereo issue on black Prestige label with Bergenfeld address, RVG stamp in dead wax. Strong VG+ to M- shape, just a few very light marks that do not affect play, full shine, plays great. Laminated front cover shows a little light wear, a couple tiny bits of laminate lifting at opening edge. Rear cover has moderate wear, which for some reason shows up as red in the center. The letter E is stamped in the upper-right corner. Nice seams with only a couple of tiny blemishes, bumped corners with a little missing paper there. Includes original Prestige inner sleeve with photos of 60 Prestige releases of the era.
I am currently selling a very nice batch of 50s and 60s jazz originals in great shape, so check my other auctions.
GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+ Full gloss, some light marks. A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, will have some surface noise, but still a playable record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
