Description

Verve Records #8709 mono promo copy, Roland Kirk “Now Please Don’t You Cry, Beautiful Edith”. With Lonnie Smith, Ronald Boykins, and Grady Tate. Gatefold jacket looks decent, light shelf wear, name inside gatefold. Spines sturdy, no splitting. Van Gelder stamped vinyl has a couple fine lines with little to no affect on play, VG+/VG++ condition.

See my other auctions for jazz, including some rare jazz, LPs.

Gradings:
M : Mint  ( I never say mint, bogue, stone fox or “holy grail”).
NM:  Near Mint, Very clean, maybe some very light marks but sound is like new.
VG++:  Very glossy, any scratches or marks will be very light and barely affecting play.
VG+: Still glossy, possibly some light crackle, some fine lines, still plays well.
VG: Used record, some crackle, no loud pops or skips; plays ok.

VG- : Some loud crackle, pops, a skip, probably not much gloss left.

Please wait for invoice before paying. I’ll send them out on by May 2nd.

All records cleaned on a VPI with Disc Doctor’s Miracle Record Cleaner.

International buyers must pay for tracking on purchases of $250 or more. This is for your protection and mine. Any tracking fees over and above $50 I will pay (ie, the most you will pay for tracking (in addition to normal shipping fees) is $50). If you have questions, please ask me.
