Description
Rare JOE HENDERSON, "In 'N Out" Blue Note 4166 LP. Blue Note Records BLP 4166 (Mono). Blue and White, New York Label with "VAN GELDER" & Ear mark in Deadwax Trailing. EX+/EX+. This LP came from a collection once owned by local Seattle area Jazz DJ and like nearly all of his LPs was rarely played! Every single album produced by the team of Joe Henderson and Kenny Dorham has become a Blue Note classic. “In ‘N Out”, propelled by the rhythm section of McCoy Tyner, Richard Davis and Elvin Jones is particularly memorable for Henderson’s “Punjab” and “Serenity”, both of which have become jazz standards. Highly recommended for jazz aficionados. Really amazing album, another great find!
Side 1: In 'N Out, Punjab.
Side 2: Serenity, Short Story, Brown's Town.
Credits: Kenny Dorham (Trumpet), Joe Henderson (Tenor Sax), McCoy Tyner (Piano), Richard Davis (Bass), Elvin Jones (Drums).
Cover has very slight wear, and "promotion copy" stamped on back, preventing NM grade. Record has a couple light unnoticeable scuffs, otherwise it would be in Near Mint condition! We guarantee all of our LPs to be as described.
Payment by Paypal (preferred) or money order only.
