Description

GOOD GRIEF - If audio is upper most on your list --->> Take a close look at this one..>>
<<60th Anniversary>>
An original 1962 1st Mono press of Jazz Samba on UK VERVE. Matrix 1S/1S. Please note the labels DO NOT mention 'Sold In The UK' and are therefore proper 1st press. Stampers 1A/1H - one of the first few thousand copies...EVER. SUPER HEAVY weight vinyl. Tank-busters! The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover printed by E J Day. We have an original Emitex inner. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In magnificent shape and has only seen the very lightest of use. Genuine original EARLY jazz LPs have no right to surface like this! Un-Believable. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a genuine minimum of EXCELLENT+ level of playback without reservation. Very delicate audio you're gonna need a clean decent copy to stand half a chance of revealing this fantastic audio to full effect.  A MEGA clean player -  exclusively. This is a RARE beast indeed. A near-master copy, like this example - in perfect condition, just takes a title like this into the stratosphere for fidelity. TOTALLY unbelievable. I don't like to overstate - but this might be the best Jazz record...super fussy title - I've ever witnessed. ZERO signs of use. From any '62 original that would be impressive. But on a title like this - I would argue it is nothing short of astonishing...At worst a couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex-) Really nice clean front with no signs of ageing and just a couple of very minor surface level creases bottom right corner. The rear has petty much entirely avoided the ageing process. Minimal wear with just a tiny patch of wear extreme top left corner. Spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Vg+) Few signs of ageing. Bag present. Bit of creasing, but no splits.
