Description
I GUARANTEE THAT EVEN THE PICKIEST OF AUDIOPHILES WILL BE HAPPY WITH THE CONDITION OF THESE RECORDS. This box set includes three 12" LPs. All three records have black Verve labels and are in MINT condition, as beautiful as when they were first pressed. All three original Verve inner sleeves included and in excellent condition. The box lid used to be connected to the box. It is cut loose. The lid is in very good condition with clear, bright graphics. Cover art by David Stone Martin. The box bottom is very good other than the tape repairs to the right side of the paste-down, photo 7.
THIS SET ALSO INCLUDES TWELVE PHOTOS OF THE JAZZ ARTISTS PERFORMING ON THESE RECORDS. They are black and white matte on card stock (photo 6). The photos are in an envelope on which is printed "A PICTOTIAL STUDY OF THE ARTISTS IN VOLUME 17" but someone has drawn a "0" over the seven to make it a "10". I do not know if this was a misprint that was hastily corrected, or if these photos came with volume 17 and someone put them in with the wrong set over the years. The large envelope is made of thick construction paper-like stock and has "Jazz at the Philharmonic, INC." printed in small print. The photos measure appx. 10 1/2" x 8 1/4". They are all in excellent condition with no creases, tears or any other damage.
