Vintage jazz lp: ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS - A Night in Tunisia - the original mono Blue Note pressing, BLP 4049, deep groove, "RVG" stamped in the  deadwax along with what looks like the etched "ear" symbol, though here it looks a bit like an etched "G"; also etched in the deadwax is BN-LP-4049-A / BN-LP-4049 -B. Released in 1961. Both the labels and the back of the jacket have the West 63rd St NY address. The front cover of the jacket is coated. Personnel includes Wayne  Shorter, Lee Morgan, Bobby Timmons, Jymie Merritt and Art Blakey.

Condition is Good/Good  - TEST PLAYED and sounds VG- to VG+ (though the vinyl has moderate-to-heavy scuffing and many soft hairlines, some of which I can feel,  I have just played both sides all the way through and there are no skips, and not only that but it plays overall VG with fairly steady but surprisingly soft background  noise and the occasional soft pop - still an absolutely enjoyable listening experience - I am happily surprised; the A-side label has some heavy rubbing; B-side label  is pretty nice with minimal rubbing; the jacket has some stains and discoloring, showing more heavily on the reverse; there are some wrinkles beneath the cover  coating; there are some white and black marks along the bottom (over the word "Tunisia") which I have since rubbed off with my thumbnail; cover edges have some  chipping; back cover has large corner chip and some edge chipping and several small edge tears and a name in ink, plus my light pencil notes in the top corner, and  the stained portion of the back cover paper is peeling; the spine has some heavy rubbing but is not split; top seam has some heavy rubbing and is split along 6  inches of the closed side; bottom seam has split completely).

(Vintage Vinyl, LPs, Record, Album, Music, Jazz, Rudy Van Gelder, 1960's, Memorabilia, Collectible).

REGARDING IMAGE QUALITY: Some of our older listings have images of poor quality; a few months ago Ebay changed their image  size policies, and I was forced to automatically enlarge the images for all of last years' remaining items, which caused them to be grainy and  blurry.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - WE SHIP WORLDWIDE - please contact me prior to bidding so I can determine Airmail shipping rates for  you.
WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS - all images are of actual items. WE ALMOST ALWAYS USE MULTIPLE IMAGES.
