Thick, Solid high gloss vinyl looks like new and plays exceptionally clean. Original Deep Groove "Black Dog" RCA VICTOR labels are pristine both sides.

COVER is VG+
Rich, vibrant cover has very light ring rub -and (why the grade isn't higher) a faint, small "ghost" that someone drew into the nuclear fireball on front, below the band -not real noticeable, fitted into the cloud shape, actually pretty cool. No creases or soil. Strong corners and solid seams all around. No splits.

Crown of Creation was a title that proved to be prophetic for Jefferson Airplane in more ways than one. On one hand, this album really WAS their crown of creation and was widely acclaimed as their performing and creative peak; on the other hand it could only be downhill from here, and the band would never again truly reach the level of musical creativity and subversive philosophical composition which they displayed on this album.

The songs are: Lather - in Time - Triad (self-censored by the Byrds, this gorgeous, but rather sexually ambiguous ballad, found a safe harbor at Jefferson Airplane -Kantner and Crosby would also soon collaborate on "Wooden Ships"). - Star track - Share a Little Joke - Chusingura - If You Feel - Crown of Creation - Ice Cream Phoenix - Greasy Heart - The House at Pooneil Corners.

Disc inside separate poly inner sleeve to protect both the original inner & the vinyl.
Album kept in a protective, poly outer-sleeve.
