This auction is for the very rare Jerry Lee Lewis Charly Records release of The Sun Years Box set SUN102. This incredible box set contains 12 LP records in their own separate sleeves complete with front and back pictures of Jerry Lee. The box shows wear just from being on the shelf. It has been carefully stored in my collection for more than 25 years. I played some of the albums a few times and some not at all. It is all classic Sun stuff with lots of outakes. There are a staggering 209 recordings in this box set with 57 songs that were released by Sun records and Sam Phillips, 7 tracks previously unissued raw cuts, 77 tracks released after Shelby Singleton purchased Sun Records and many of these have been released here in their original mono recording. Then there are 60 tracks previously unissued and alternate takes, and 8 previously unissued titles.There is a detailed track by track analysis on the sleeve for each album. These songs were recorded from 1956 - 1963. If you love Jerry Lee Lewis then you can't pass up this classic OOP set. The records and sleeves are NM to Mint. Most if any wear is just from sitting in the box. The box shows shelf wear, so view pictures. You won't see many of these in this and this is out of print.
