Description
THE album to own for the Tull fan, this is their most widely known work and it is THE first release, a rare bird indeed. Chrysalis #ilps9145 which was the first release of this album, produced and released in the U.K. London. DO NOT confuse this with the later U.S. release that is much more common. The gatefold jacket is in VG+ condition. It has light edge wear spots, near the corner, a small spot of missing papaer on the top right corner where presumably a price tag once was. It is otherwise nice with good cover, no seam splits! The original insert lyric sleeve is there. I also found the original receipt for this album from a Boston record store. This album was released in April 1971 and this receipt is dated 4/27 presumably of 1971, so this truely was one of the first copies to hit the streets! The vinyl is spectacular and I'd rate it NM only becuase few things are truely MT. The vinyl has not even a spindle mark so if this was played at all it was played sparingly! this truely is a must have for the Tull fan! Buyer pays the $3.95 media mail s/h.
