Description

Really nice copy of this 1981 MFSL audiophile classic...Jethro Tull's Aqualung.
The cover is VG+, with some minor abrasions along the top left seam and some minor ring wear on back cover.
The vinyl is VG+ as well.  It has a nice sheen to it with just a couple light surface scratches.  It has been play tested and sounds great!
The record label has a couple light smudges as can be seen in the photos.
Side one:  No. Title Length 1. "Aqualung" (Ian Anderson, Jennie Anderson) 6:34 2. "Cross-Eyed Mary" 4:06 3. "Cheap Day Return" 1:21 4. "Mother Goose" 3:51 5. "Wond'ring Aloud" 1:53 6. "Up to Me" 3:15 Side two:  No. Title Length 1. "My God" 7:08 2. "Hymn 43" 3:14 3. "Slipstream" 1:13 4. "Locomotive Breath" 4:23 5. "Wind-Up" 6:01

The cover & vinyl grading has been done using the Goldmine grading standard:

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) or EXCELLENT (E)

A good description of a VG+ record is “except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++ or E+).

VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.

VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.
