Description

An original 1970 stereo1st on Uk Chrysalis. Matrix 1/2. Please take note labels are very slightly textured and still have the WHITE Island text at 12 o'clock...THESE are the 1st pressings. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. We also have an original and correct inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after. Under close examination I could only make a couple of very slight marks - nothing remotely troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Excellent level of playback. A great little player and is  clean throughout - even into those fussy numbers. And just remember most of the original copies will be knackered by this point. There's a lot of percussive elements, complexity,,,,and did I mention a flute! So, TULL copies often and usually suffer degradation. ONLY the best preserved copies will actually cut the mustard. Much better preserved than the average copy that surfaces. You're going to witness all the elements of this fantastic bad without anything annoying interferring.
Cover (Ex-) A smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 50+ years use. But this one is exhibiting really good colour retention. Clean and flat with just slight edge wear in a couple of spots. ..The spine is 90% intact with one stress crease. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Slightest ageing. But fully intact.
