Description
Presently listing some rarely seen odd and interesting Jethro Tull items on eBay with this offering directly from that vein.
A strange pressing of Benefit from Greece having the artwork for the Stand Up album on one side creating a duel cover affect along with the standard artwork for the album.
It was released on a Pink Island label (see the first photo for the best idea of the actual color) instead of the usual Reprise Greek label. The cover also has a pink Island promo “hype” sticker affixed.
The condition of the cover is excellent. There are no seam splits or tears at all. The mark free surface retains most of the original gloss on the normal Benefit side. The finish on the Stand Up side is also near perfect with a low gloss almost matt finish.
The vinyl is just about as perfect as when it was pressed.
This is just about the most unique JT album artwork I’ve come across over many years of collecting Tull (perhaps along with the War Child album I have listed from France).
