Description:
Jethro Tull, Benefit, Orig UK Island/Chrysalis LP, EX, ILPS-9123, 1st Pressing!!
Original Island/Chrysalis stereo issue LP, the unlaminated cover is in very good+ condition, with some light rubbing around the corners & edges, with some storage wear on the rear cover & a couple of light creases on the rear cover (see pics). The spine is intact and fully readable. The plain inner is intact and in excellent condition (see pics). The record is in visually excellent condition with some evidence of being played, with a couple of light hairlines from being removed from its sleeve & one or two small needle marks visible under bright light that do not affect play. The labels are clean and bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings, overall the record still retains its original sheen and looks great.
The sound reproduction is clear & vibrant throughout, with no loud crackle or hiss & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise on the run ins and in a couple of the quieter passages. The matrix nos. are ILPS-9123, A-2 mother stampers 1-1-5, B-1 mother stampers 1-1-5, this is the one of the earliest pressings of the first UK stereo issue of this album!!! Happy bidding and Good Luck !!!
