Description
If you collect PROMOTIONAL RECORDS, great Rock & Roll LPs or if you just like Jethro Tull, here’s the auction you’ve been looking for!!! Here is Jethro Tull’s DOUBLE VINYL LP “LIVING IN THE PAST”, a WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING released in 1972. This is Chrysalis Records 2CH 1035. This is a USA pressing. As you know promotional records were pressed in very limited quantities and only made available to special people in the industry and to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities. I need not bore you by listing the cuts on this LP. You can view the images of the snow-white promotional labels for a listing of the cuts on each of the 4 sides. You know how excellent this LP was/is and you know that this Jethro Tull LP ranks up there along with “Aqualung” among the band’s best LPs. And this white label promo pressing has gotten harder and harder to find these days. The THICK ORIGINAL TEXTURED COVER is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with some wear on the corners (and a small push on one corner). The inner photo booklet has become detached with a small tear at the top of the first page. There is clear scotch tape on the bottom seams of the 2 photo inner sleeves inside the booklet. The VINYL is graded NEAR MINT with just a few light scuffs and surface hairlines. The labels are nice and clean as you can see in the images. Now ask yourself: How often does this JETHRO TULL PROMOTIONAL LP in this fine condition come up for auction? You know the answer, so how can you afford to miss this opportunity? IT’S A GREAT RARE PROMO LP TO ADD TO YOUR VINYL COLLECTION. FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. And please check my other auctions for other LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping! Winning bidder must remit payment within 7 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to an address in the lower 48 U.S. states via media mail with delivery confirmation. (Postage is more to Alaska and US islands.) NOTE: THIS IS A U.S.A. ONLY AUCTION.
