Description

An original 1968 stereo 1st press of 'This Was' on UK Island. Matrix A/B. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original wide spine gatefold with flipbacks exposed in the interior.
Vinyl (Vg) In good shape despite having seen a moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are many light marks either side - nothing really heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a VERYGOOD level of playback. Do expect a bit of crackle. Some tracks play pretty good with only a few minor crackles. A couple play with noticeable crackle, although never really horrendous. 80% still plays back at a very enjoyable level. The buyer will need to be someone who can accept the deficiencies and appreciate it is the original article and priced down due to condition.
Cover (Vg+) In great condition and difficult to find major fault with. Nice shiny front and back without much creasing. The interior is great and those flipbacks are all secure. There's only light edge wear and the text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a nice example.
