Hello and welcome to my auction.

Over the coming weeks I will be auctioning off some very rare pieces of vinyl, from my own personal collection. I have collected for many many years, and have generally only ever kept hold of pieces that are rare, desirable and highly sought after. Most of the stuff I will list won't be your typical album you see every day.

This leads me onto...

Jethro Tull - This Was

Label: First pink island (w/ bullseye)

CONDITION

Cover: VG/VG+ - a very acceptable cover. This is a very delicate cover due to its dimensions and structure, so I think it's fair to say that this is a decent copy, remaining very useable and presentable.

Disc: VG/VG+ - has a few blemishes and imperfections such as wispy hairlines and faint rub marks, but overall, nothing deep or so striking as to consider it damaged, visually the disc looks very reasonable considering its age and rarity - showing mainly only (what looks to be) sleeve removal marks. I played a few tracks (not the entirety) which perform (on my turntable) with a nice punchy, crisp sound, featuring some mild background noise and brief static. I suspect with a good clean this may possibly be gone completely. As I say, I haven't played it all due to time, so cannot comment on the full listen, although visually I would think it will perform well.

As you probably know, this exact copy's specifics (first pink island etc.) is a much sought after one. Therefore, this is definitely worthy of any collection!
