Description
Jethro Tull - This Was
(Island ILP 985 UK LP 1968)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks. The vinyl has textured pink Island labels with the "circle" logo. It has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers. It comes with its original plain paper inner sleeve. Original UK Mono copies are quite rare!
Gatefold Sleeve: There is moderate rubbing wear to the corners. There is also a little bit of wear to the spine. VG condition.
Vinyl: Moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and the occasional hairline marks. Good condition. There is a small tear on Side 2's label, & a small name has been written on it also. Otherwise moderate spindle wear. I have played this LP completely. It actually plays fairly well, with only light intermittent crackle in some of the quieter places. The plain paper inner has a sticker & some writing on it.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
