Description

This an original 1968 copy with pink label/black&orange 'circle' logo in mono. Unlike most copies on this site this is the original Island ILP 985 pressing and not the 9085 pressing. The cover is laminated so there is little actual wear and the spine is in good condition. On the inside cover is the name and address of my mate - Roy Meredith, 6 Kitchener St, St Helens - who I got the album from. Roy's name - R Meredith, is also on the white sleeve insert. As for the record itself, it plays remarkably well given that it's 50 years old. Under a strong light there are marks on the vinyl but this does not hinder the actual playing of the record. Yes, there is the usual static noise between tracks and there is a click on Side One, Track Three "Beggar's Farm" and a couple of clicks on Side Two, Track Four "A Song For Jeffrey" but hey, this is fifty year old vinyl! It plays well. If you would like any further info please get in touch. Happy to send to anywhere in the world for the appropriate postage fee.
