Description
I am selling some of my personal vinyl collection. Most of these records were purchased by me new in the 1970’s/80’s and have been extremely well looked after, having only been played a handful of times on a Linn Sondek turntable with a light stylus tracking force of 1.5g.
Unless stated otherwise, the vinyl can be considered as mint and shiny with no marks – basically as new. The covers vary in condition but most are excellent just showing the usual signs of storage – slight scuffing, etc.
This LP is Jim Morrison's (The Doors) "An American Prayer" album on Elektra Records (Butterfly Label) K 52111.
Matrix (dead wax) marks are A1/B1.
Vinyl condition is mint I would say. The LP appears to me to have never been played apart from a short test play on my new Rega RP6 turntable where it sounded superb. There is some background crackle for a few seconds on the lead in to Side 2 but otherwise background noise is negligible. Record has been stored in a Nagaoka inner sleeve.
Gatefold cover condition is excellent as it has been stored in a plastic liner.
Lyric booklet is also excellent.
It would be very hard to find a better original copy.
I dispatch worldwide in reinforced heavy duty LP mailers with inserts either side. See my other auctions as I can combine postage. Some countries may require International Signed For.
Please see my feedback, particularly on other records I have sold, and thanks for looking.
