Welcome to another exciting adventure of Drollwit Cleans Out The Closet. I have decided to turn loose some good collector vinyl...otherwise I'm gonna kick the bucket and the family will throw it all away. I hope the new owner will get the enjoyment out of this stuff that I have.
Axis: Bold As Love by the Jimi Hendrix Experience is Reprise 6281 in stereo. This is the original first pressing described as follows:
Jacket - There is a small filing label in the upper right corner of the front of the jacket. There is very little corner wear and there is some light overall soiling from rubbing against other LPs for 40+ years. I'll call it a VG+ jacket and you'll be very happy as there are no seam splits or writing.
Disc - The labels are both clean and bright, but as you can see, when the side one label was die-cut it was double punched and a small scallop was cut from the edge. This is a production flaw and not damage from misuse. The vinyl is shiny, bright and clean...a few barely visible paper scuffs that don't affect play. Most dealers would call this NM but bid on it as if it's VG++ and you should be a happy camper!
The record will be shipped in a suitable record mailer with the disc separated from the jacket to avoid damage. It will be shipped within 24 hours of certified payment with the exception of payments made on Saturday. Payment is required within 72 hours of the end of bidding. If you need special considerations, please contact me before bidding.
If you live outside the United States and win the auction DO NOT PAY the automatic invoice generated by eBay. DO NOT PAY until we have agreed on a shipping method (which will cost more than domestic shipping) and I have sent a separate invoice.
