Description

Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced LP - 1st UK Mono First issue of the JHE album, sadly with the matt sleeveback. The record had spent a long time in its original poly lined sleeve and had a ripple pattern all over it before I cleaned it (using a Moth RCM and Keith Monks cleaning fluid) but it looks much nicer now. It's still got a bit of crackle at the beginning so I can't grade it higher than VG+ for audio which is a shame because it looks Excellent, it's been looked after and hasn't been played much. The matrix numbers are A1 and B1

The laminated sleeve is EX-, I gave the front a gentle wipe over with a damp cloth and it removed a lot of the marks visible in the pictures. The original inner sleeve has been thrown away in favour of a NOS Discwasher antistatic inner.

I'm also selling a stereo 1st Axis Bold As Love today.

Like many of the more unusual records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 60. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played. His musical taste was generally towards the avant garde and more interesting end of the jazz spectrum. His collection numbered about 15,000. I will be selling it over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
