Description

Jimi Hendrix

Are You Experienced - UK, Track 613001, 1967 (?) - STEREO

I bought this in 1976 (or thereabouts) from a dealer in London, at a time when it was largely assumed that this legendary LP was released in both stereo and mono in the UK in 1967. Indeed, the renowned Hendrix scholar Caesar Glebeek recorded the existence of a 1967 UK stereo release in his 1990 masterwork on Hendrix.

Since then, doubt has been cast upon whether the stereo version was a 1970s reissue but the debate has not been convincingly settled either way.

One thing is for sure - reissue or not, this is genuinely rare.

LP - Mint

Cover - Ex++

I will issue a full refund to anybody not happy with any aspect of the description.
