Jimi Hendrix ARE YOU EXPERIENCED U.S. MONO on Reprise Records R-6261 (Warner Bros.). I've read that this was released in 1967, but nowhere on the cover or album label is there a printed date. Steamboat label shows MONO at bottom center, label Side 1 shows R 6261 (10,681) and Side 2 R 6261 (10,682), plain white inner sleeve. Etched matrixes are: Side 1: 10681 R-6261-A 1-F Side 2: 10682 R-6261-B 1-A.

Cover is intact, no tears or splits, although smudged around the edges - mostly the front cover; some visible ringwear. There are 2 felt pen markings on top right front cover AND 1 on the record label side 2 (small 1/4 inch "L" similar to the large "L" seen on the front cover). The vinyl is very shiny but shows light scratches and some smudges, so when I played it I was really surprised - though a VERY light crackle can be heard (not as loud as the music) there are no skips or jumps on this record. I noticed a few light pops in the dead vinyl of The Wind Cries Mary. All the songs play through fine.

This has been inside a vinyl cover and stored with other records upright for 20+ years.
