Jimi Hendrix Are You Experienced UK Mono First Pressing Track 612001

The record is graded ex-. It has been well played as the labels attest but it has also been well looked after. The lp is flat and very shiny. There are one or two light marks visible in daylight but these are not feelable and do not cause any degredation to the sound. Under very intense light there are a large number of very light wispy sleeve marks - invisible in normal light - that do not contribute to the sound. There is some barely audible crackle in the intro and between a couple of tracks, but no other problems. The sound is, indeed, excellent throughout.
The labels are graded ex+. There are a number of spindle marks indicating that the lp has been well played but no other significant defects.
The cover is graded vg. It is generally clean and free from wear. There are some laminate creases on the front near the opening which has a little light feathering. The spine - so often a problem with this sleeve - is rather worn. The back - which is unlaminated - is clean and very tidy but for a previous owner's initials which may be removable but I haven't tried.
This is probably not a final upgrade/investment copy of this excellent lp but it does come close. The lp itself looks and sounds great and, whilst the sleeve has its defects, it is better than 90% of the copies I have seen.
