Betcha you've been looking for this for a while, huh? Me too! It took me forever to find a tri-color original of this awesome album. But here it is, the debut album from The Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced?
This is an original first pressing, NOT a reissue! The later pressings...the two tone brown/red and the even later brown label can't compare, sound wise, to the tri-color original. This is the copy to own, for sure! As an added bonus, this album was cleaned using my VPI record vacuum. I sucked out decades worth of dust, leaving nothing but awesome analog sound!
What makes this even more special is that this is a 1B pressing. And that's a 1B on both sides. The higher the letter ("A" being the highest, of course), the more collectable the record.
Record grade: VG+. There's some crackle here in spots. Side 1 plays really great, Side 2 has a bit more crackle, with a pop during 3rd Stone From The Sun. Overall, this is a very nice copy. There's a name written on the label (pictured).
Cover grade: VG+. Shelf wear, no splits. The spine is a bit damaged (pictured).
Don't let this get away...tri-colors are tough to come by. It sounds fantastic, the bottom end is killer, you'll love it!
