612003 original black Track mono release 1967 no orange lyric sheet
There are very intriguing and noticeable differences between the two mixes that make the MONO version extremely special to collectors :
EXP is shorter without the extended feedback at the end and the vocals are louder.
Castles Made of Sand features a different vocal performance.
One Rainy Wish has a slightly different ending.
Mono is well preferred by many with the much deeper sharp tones and the profound depth of sound delivery. There are other subtle differences too, across the entire album as a result of the separate mixing to mono as opposed to merely combining the stereo tracks. Therefore this album release is highly valued and highly collectable so do not miss this sensational album release.

Sleeve gatefold printed E J Day first issue . Internal flip backs and centrefold in good condition. Moderate wear / scuffs top/lower spinal edges. No laminate lifts. Strong coloration . Minor surface damage on inner right face/lower flip back. Tape residue on inner ,lower right corner . Light creasing in lamination . Small part of opening top edge missing , outer face. Tape residues on outer faces which should clean off due to shiny laminate .
Black Track label format . Soft textured first issue, very good +/excellent- condition with moderate spider lines visible . No damage at all apart from spindle lines.
Vinyl A1/B1 matrix
Thick press with a heavyweight feel . Chunky monster slab well loved and very much played. Plenty of surface marks and light scratches visible, enough to dull the surfaces . Pic still shows however a reflective sheen.
Audio
Obviously well played but no serious problems, like skips, nor jumps nor sticks . There is surface noise through out, but tones do rise above any disturbance to convey a good delivery as per RRPG. A few audible scratches resulting in ticks etc . One or two pops.I played the vinyl and quite enjoyed it. A bargain to be had here, if you are not looking for a museum piece .
Will certainly pick up a bargain here . One of the greatest LPs ever made so do not miss. An affordable example of this psychedelic masterpiece, exemplifying Hendrix’ genius and raw talent . A must have collectors’ vinyl in sensational mono !
