**HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM PLAN 9** *******AND RECORD FINDERS!********
Up for bid is a rare white label promo LP: "The Cry of Love" by Jimi Hendrix. This was released by Reprise Records (MS 2034). The front of the jacket has a promotional white strip across the front. LP is a solid VG+, with some light scuffs on side one. There is no actual spindle wear around the spindle hole, but there is light spindle marks on the interior labels of each side. LP is unbelievably clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG, with a seam split on the top of the rear portion of the gatefold. This area, about 6 inches long in teh center of the seam, has been covered in clear tape. There is another seam split on the bottom seam of the rear portion of the gatefold. This split, which starts at the corner of the lip and travels towards the spine, is about 4 inches long and is covered in clear tape. There is visible wear on the top and bottom seams, as well as on the spine. The front of the jacket has a promotional sticker on the top left corner that reads: "Jimi Hendrix The Shot of Love." There is corner wear on all 4 corners. There is light ring wear on the back of the jacket. The jacket has a glossy covering on the front and back. There is a split in the surface layer of the jacket in the center of the spine about 1 inch long. This area has not split all the way through the jacket, just the surface layer. This is a nice addition to any Hendrix collection! Don't miss out on this rare gem, you may not see another in a long while! If multiple items are won, we will combine items for a shipping discount.
