This is from my own collection I am not a dealer, in the next few months I am selling off part of my collection, some rarities and collectable, no filler! Thanks for looking!

If you are reading you probably know how rare and imposiible it is to find this was withdrawn on Jimis orders as he was unhappy to release Ladyland material before general release and was not consulted , story goes his manager Mike Jeffries wanted this in circulation to promoters and some record shops and fans/friends media personalities , a few got out est less than 800 , how many Ex do you think remain ?

It's the rarest record and is now included on the official discography at Hendrix and Handel  museum in Brook Street London.

The *Turquoise of Track records ? *

Side 1 is side D on the double abulm Electric Ladyland released later side 2 is side B on the double , so those who know will have realised these 2 sides are not paired together on the double.

Track sequence was a serious consideration for Jimi another reason why its muted that he *pulled this one*

this is nearly a 55 year old vinyl 1st pressing!

Jimi Hendrix  3rd studio  album on Track was due to be released in 1968, recorded in Olympic studios London and Electric Lady New York City, this followed "Axid Bold as Love" in the following year as Jimi was required to produce 2 albums for Track in that year 67, some music was held over from Axis sessions ,

Jimi was playing and recording in London almost every day so this was no problem  for the experience. Following up after the debut...recorded at Olympic Studios in Barnes London and Electric Lady studios NYC released in London 1967 first on the iconic "UK Black Track label"

The photos of Olympic studios and a Tape machine from the era are not included. Also lLadland Studios in NYC I took the picture after failing to get a look last year but hey its a working g studio.

Fortunately the guys at Olympic are more friendly , despite one half being a cinema with a restaurant designed by Mick Jagger.

It's reported that in the late 80s Virgins studio Manager Barbara Jeffries ordered that all the master tapes stored at Olympic go in the skip!

The bootleggers must have loved her...

This is a Ex vinyl copy   "Made in Great Britain" at 6 oclock on the black track mono label!

There are some very light surface lines on both sides, some scuffs, some light removal whispy lines under strong light, this is the original iconic Black UK Track label from 1968  only light surface noise in quiter parts , nothing serious on playback it has no skips or jumps or sticks.there are a few ticks , nothing to disrupt enjoyment.

This is not a MINT or Archieve copy it has been played but a great buy for any Jimi  collector, this Jimis 3rd track recording from 1968 ... here it is under £1200

Ex vinyl been well cared for and vault stored many years.

The original UK mono copies from 1967 are now so hard to find in this condition you can see £1500+ is not unusual , here for less than £1200 is a bargain....

We have seen rough vg  copies being sold at 600/700.

Incredible stereo separation on this.

You can see 800 being asked for a VGC copy so they are very few in Ex.

Only the 2nd we have seen In Ex in last 30 years.

The record  Excellent condition 

This is a stereo  copy and sounds awesome as Jimi experimental studios time git longer and longer..

clean labels no writing

This is in good shape no writing or stickers on labels, has some very light surface lines , hairlines,  a few spindle lines on labels. Slight removal scuffs and hairlines under strong light no skips or jumps on our Rega 3.

In Ex condition at 55 the vinyl with some visible scuffs from sleeve removal ,there is only light  static, from handling over the years, bear in mind this is a 55 year old vinyl record! it has some hairlines and light scuffs to the vinyl which we tried to show in photos. no skips or jumps.

Side 2 has a non sounding mark does not affect audio on this copy.

 Nice fat pre oil crisis 60s vinyl wow ! very flat on the table, test played on 2 decks wow great audio.

So thick and fat vinyl..very flat on then table.

Truly rare to get a ex copy 55 years on..

See pictures in the listing you can see the light surface lines on the record. nothing seros serious  and it plays through without any serious  disruption no skips or jumps and fully play tested on 2 decks one very light tracking Kenwood which is sensitive.

Plays clear with bright crisp sound may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) 

The Cover is Ex also 

Been kept in a PVC sleeve for most of its life in great shape from a smoke free home.

Bright vibrant colour no writing stickers or tears, spine is in good order a real keeper see photos in listing.

Having done it's job over 55 years the sleeve has siome wear at corners but no visible ringwear at the rear (see photos) and a liitle creasing in place , nice original survivor from the rarest run.

No WRITING , colours are good and not a lot fading, the thick card holds up well, no writing , names or stickers.  record is always stored separate in recent years.

The sleeve has mild creasing from historic storage and transit,  its holding up well, we have a card stiffener to help protect.

on the whole a good sleeve and a very very collectable vinyl. there is some light rounding to corners . spine is in good shape,

a great EJ day sleeve so short lived these.
