Jimi Hendrix - Electric Jimi Hendrix (Track Records 2856 002. 1968)

A record which needs little introduction. Not just the rarest UK Hendrix LP (excluding the Cry of Love red vinyl pressing) but one of the rarest UK major label pressings of the 60s!

Issued as a teaser to the upcoming Electric Ladyland set the record was distributed as a promotional item and also via the members only Polydor Record Club.

Jimi wasn't happy with the concept and the record was very quickly withdrawn. Only a handful of records slipped out, with the figure of 200 copies often thrown around. This by far makes it one of the rarest and most sought after Hendrix items.

This LP very rarely comes up for sale. Most copies now reside in Hendrix collections worldwide and this would happily sit in mine if bills didn't need to be paid!!

Cover is VG+. Contains some light storage wear. No tears or rips, spine and opening edge in tact. Contains some light edge wear, see images. Pin hole on top right hand corner.

Vinyl is also strong VG+. Some light hairlines. There is one light mark on side 1 (see pic), which isn't deep and doesn’t cut into the grooves. Plays really well!
