Description

DESCRIPTION:  Jimi Hendrix- Electric Ladyland LP.  1ST UK pressing with fully laminated "nudes" sleeve with white text and smaller photos to interior.  Auto-coupled discs and A1/B1/C1/D1 with corrections matrix. The "Plastic Bags can be Dangerous" white inners are from early 70s rather than late 60s.
LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Track 613008/9 .
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968 .
COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK
CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+/F+(Please read on)/VG. Vinyls are both clean with a decent sheen, a lot of brushing lines, hairlines and surface lines,  Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Both discs sit perfectly flat on the turntable.  There are some ticks and some background sound throughout, most noticeable in intros and quietest passages. The louder, fuller tracks/passages sound vibrant, clear and loud. I noticed about 5 or 6 split second skips across the 2 discs, nothing repetitive and it does not spoil the listening. Cover is a decent VG. It is firm and not far off square, retains decent shape and has moderate edge wear, moderate to heavy corner wear and light to moderate creasing.  Clean inside to gatefold sleeve and moderate creasing/wear to inside of spine. Clean labels- just check out the photos.  No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER HENDRIX/CLASSIC/PROGRESSIVE/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
