Description
I am selling two double albums here.
Both original 1968 releases, but the blue ink interior Sleeve print may be the very first edition.
?
There seems to be some debate so I can solve that one by offering both!
Catalogue number 613 008, 1968 is on both double albums.
The white ink small pictures is the one I bought in late sixties and is in very good condition.
?
The blue ink version I bought at a record fair 25 years ago and records are in poor condition but I wanted the blue ink sleeve!
?
So which ever is the rarest doesn't matter as you will have them both.
Play my copy as both records are very clean and the keen collector can enjoy having the "possibly" rarer blue ink.

For what it worth I have seen plenty of the white ink small pictures sleeves but this is the only blue ink one.

These go for silly money in USA auctions and the feeling is that the blue ink ones were given away as promos at the early part of 1968 release date.
Just to add to the mystery the vinyl records themselves in the blue ink version have a weird upside down in brackets 613008 A, above the usual 613008 usual catalogue number which may well indicate first pressing? See photo .?
My original white ink copy doesn't have that just the 613008 right way up
Historians out there will know better than me but as I say own both and it won't really matter !
