Description
Firstly I will admit I knowing next to nothing about collectable Albums and the one on offer has surfaced from an old collection which had been hidden in a box for some years. It is, what my untrained eye would call, fair condition. It is, I believe to be, a First Pressing Track Record Edition with the blue lettering inside and the larger version photos of Mitch and Noel.
On the left hand side of the centre hole, the catalogue number is repeated above the large silver print in smaller printing, upside down and in a bracket. This smaller number ends with a capital "A" or "B" per side on both record labels and I understand that this is only found on the very first pressing and Electric Ladyland.
Marked 613008/9 on the record centres. It is a gatefold "naked ladies" edition but unfortunately the inside dust covers are missing. The gatefold cover has a few creases and raising of the laminate but colours are still bright. Edges are a bit ragged and the spine is cracked and frayed. Slight splitting along the middle section of spine.
The vinyls are:
Side A - OK Side B - Bad scraches across all tracks Side C - Scrached and bitsmudged Side D -Visible little Scratch over tracks 1 and 2
Am not sure if the album is playable as we no longer have a record player to try it out. I am trying very hard not to mislead with my description, but I am aware that despite it's condition it is a rare copy of this Album and would still be a desirable additon to any collection.
