Description
This is an auction of a rare Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland - UK Polydor 2310270 2 LP with the famous non-US 18 nude women gatefold cover. Issued 1968.
Records are visually graded Mint-, cover is VG++ to VG+ with slight general wear, slight wear at opening edge, 4" seam split at bottom back center, bottom corner tip wear and a 2" patch of paper loss on back cover on the left center. There is also slight laminate wear at the left side edge of the opening of the gatefold cover.
Why am I NOT blocking out parts of the nudes in these photos ?
As of 7/28/09 - Ebay has revised their policy concerning nudity in ads and I have been told they now accept images of nude album cover art in the "records" music category as valid representations of the item for sale. As a result, I am now able to relist this as I might any other collectible or work of art for sale. Thank you to those who helped influence Ebay to reconsider their policy - I sincerely appreciate your efforts. FYI - this famous photo is by David Montgomery who is a professional photographer/artist.
